GALWAY HOUSE

The Galway House has been designed as a single family residence on a heavily wooded site near the village of Moycullen and close to Lough Corrib.

The design of the building responds to three separate factors. It responds to the programme and the clients' requirements. It responds to the precise topography of the site and the position of mature trees and it responds to a vernacular language using materials which are found naturally within the vicinity.

The architectural language respects vernacular form while introducing a sense of contemporary detailing.
