Founding member and Director of Design Strategies. He has been in architectural practice since 1978. He is a Professor of Architecture at The Dublin School of Architecture, DIT Bolton Street and is former President for the European Association for Architectural Education. He is a Member of the EU Commission’s Advisory Body on the Education and Training of Architects. He is currently an adjunct Professor at the School of Architecture of University of North Carolina. As a practising design architect he has been the recipient of numerous architectural awards both in Ireland and Internationally. He has also been a jury member on several National and International competitions. His interests include painting and drawing, art and architecture, sailing, skiing, diving, and wine.
