Design Strategies is a progressive design led Practice which believes that high quality design can bring significant added value to building projects. The work of the Practice extends to architecture, interior design, urban design and conservation work with Protected Structures.

Design Strategies believes in an architecture of response rather than an architecture of imposition. The relationship of buildings to their context and setting in each case is unique and consequently it is the aim of the practice to provide unique solutions. Considerable time and effort is invested in assisting clients to define their needs and developing a clear interpretation of the client’s brief in the context of the site and within the constraints of the client’s budget.

The Practice has won many architectural competitions both nationally and internationally and has been the recipient of numerous architectural awards, including five Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland [RIAI]Awards and seven Architectural Association of Ireland [AAI] Awards.

The Practice is strongly linked to Architectural Education and Research and thereby places a high value on projects which present a challenge regardless of their size.
